Learn, Practice and Implement Restorative Practices

LCJP delivers customized interactive trainings for a wide range of individuals and organizations in the public and private sectors.

Longmont Police have referred criminal cases to LCJP’s Community Restorative Justice Program in lieu of filing misdemeanor and felony charges since 1996. LCJP brings this nationally acclaimed model to other public safety departments with training for law enforcement agents.

LCJP trains educators, administrators, counselors, support staff and students to use restorative principles and practices to create a restorative culture in their school community.

LCJP empowers individuals to use Restorative Practices, principles, and values in order to build, maintain, and repair relationships. The same fundamental skills that LCJP volunteers learn for participating in Restorative Justice can be adapted and utilized in any interpersonal dynamic. For those actively volunteering here at LCJP, training is free of charge.

Restorative Practices can be applied as tools for conflict resolution and building relationships in any setting. LCJP trainers will work with your team or community to design a plan and and build capacity to support a restorative culture shift where you work, live, learn, or play.
