Community Restorative Justice Services
Longmont Community Justice Partnership (LCJP) provides restorative justice services to the Longmont community
LCJP has developed numerous successful restorative justice interventions since its founding in 1994, and the Community Restorative Justice Program (CRJ) has served as the organization’s primary restorative service provider since 2015 (upon closure of the Restorative Practices in Schools program). CRJ coordinates dynamic and personalized restorative justice services. CRJ’s experienced staff and volunteers support referred individuals, their families, and community stakeholders from the date a case is referred through completion of the reparative agreement. More than 90% of CRJ’s cases are referred by the Longmont Police Department through a pre-file diversion model, giving Longmont’s residents an opportunity to fully resolve cases that involve a pending criminal charge outside of the conventional justice system.
