RJTC

Welcome to the Restorative Justice Training Collaboration!

Volunteers are a key component of many of the restorative justice (RJ) programs in our region. In an effort to support the training needs of RJ volunteers and staff, the Restorative Justice Training Collaboration (RJTC) was designed to pool the diverse talents and resources of the many RJ programs and practitioners. RJTC membership gives RJ volunteers and staff access to training and on-going skill enhancement.

The RJTC is committed to providing high quality RJ trainings to improve the skills of its program members' volunteers as well as advancing the quality of the restorative justice movement. By collaboratively training, we share resources, reduce expenses and learn about restorative practices implemented in various programs. Collaborative training also provides opportunities for learning from others and for sharing volunteers during times when caseloads are extremely high. It builds the momentum of the restorative justice movement when we meet and get to know other program volunteers and helps us all feel like part of the RJ community.

The mission of the RJTC is:

  • To provide affordable, quality training for volunteers of community restorative justice programs in Boulder County and surrounding areas.
  • To provide opportunities for building synergy, support and networking among restorative justice program staff and volunteers.
