JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Longmont Community Justice Partnership (LCJP) is a Nonprofit Organization as regulated by IRS Code 501(c)3. The function and mission of LCJP is to provide an alternative system of accountability for offenders and victims who are willing to forego criminal prosecution for offenses and instead agree to work through the Restorative Justice model to repair the harm. The LCJP employs 5 FTE’s, and utilizes the services of approximately 30 volunteers. The Executive Director (ED) will successfully create and lead LCJP strategy and daily operations that maximize the effectiveness of our Mission Statement to create a safe and caring community, reduce crime, and create justice for all in Longmont and the St. Vrain Valley School District. The ED will provide appropriate leadership to the LCJP staff that allows them to achieve goals that are driven by clear plans and metrics. The ED will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the community, including but not limited to; the Longmont Police Department, the Longmont City Council, the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, the St. Vrain Valley School District, Courts and Probation, the Longmont area business community, and others as needed.
The ED will lead the effort to secure and manage funding for the organization, which includes funding from local government, private donors, and grants.
The ED will work to increase awareness and acceptance of Restorative Justice in the community.
The ED will provide strategic planning, visioning, and will oversee the day to day operations of the organization which will include but is not limited to: office management, record keeping, payroll, budget preparation, report preparation, hiring, training, mentoring, and other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements: A demonstrated understanding of and passion for the tenets of Restorative Justice A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree from an accredited college or university, in the field of social work, criminal justice, public administration, or a related field Minimum of 5 years in leadership and management of nonprofit organization(s) Strong organizational and people motivational skills Demonstrated ability to creatively problem-solve Demonstrated record of developing individual and corporate donations, with at least 5 years experience in this area Experience in seeking and managing grants Experience in nonprofit finance structures Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various agencies, including government, businesses, and other key stakeholders in nonprofit organizations A track record of success in using metrics to plan and achieve objectives Demonstrated ability to successfully market through various media Strong interpersonal skills The hiring process will include an application review, a background investigation, and one or more oral interviews. The ED reports to a Board of Directors, and serves at the pleasure of the Board.

Bilingual Case Coordinator Postion
Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $32,000 per year plus benefits
General Position Description: The Community Restorative Justice (CRJ) Bilingual Case Coordinator position is a full-time position responsible for coordinating all restorative justice processes referred to the CRJ program. Flexible hours are required including some nights and weekends.
Education: High school diploma, college degree preferred
Language: English/Spanish required
Experience:
- Three years of case coordination experience
- Microsoft Access database experience (2-3 years preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Appreciation of restorative principles
- Ability to work and make decisions independently with minimal supervision
- Well organized, detail oriented, and possess a strong work ethic
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse populations including youth and adult volunteers, peers, supervisors, representatives of cooperating agencies, police officers, victims, offenders, and the general public
- Ability to deal with information in a confidential manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish
- Community minded and knowledgeable of Longmont and its youth-serving agencies is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Case work and coordination: 80%
- Building and cultivaing community relationships: 10%
- Uphold restorative justice values and maintain program integrity: 10%
Commitment: Minimum 2 years

Work Environment/Physical Activities:
- Small nonprofit organization

- Computer and personal interaction with criminal justice system personnel, school personnel, clients from both arenas, family members, and other professionals
- Some light lifting required
