Use Restorative Practices in schools for a transformative effect on classroom and school culture.

Restorative Tools for the Classroom introduces restorative practices for handling conflict and disturbance in the classroom and throughout the school environment. All school personnel are encouraged to attend, including teachers, administrators, counselors, and school resource officers. The training content includes methods that span the prevention-intervention spectrum to strengthen relationships with students and address challenging behaviors. These methods include connection circles for building trust, restorative conversations to address 1-on-1 conflict, and restorative incident reports to encourage students' responsibility and reflection. Through hands-on activities, trainees will practice using these techniques and strategize how they will incorporate restorative tools into their classroom or workplace.

“LCJP builds community through collaborative and inclusive restorative practices and gives people the opportunity to heal and create justice in their community and the world.”
